Bra Fitters See the People!

Established bra fitter Gail Bogdanovich and newly recruited bra fitter Laura Kroeger share their thoughts on success at a recent conference call. Their one common goal is to see the people. As with any business, distributors like Gail and Laura know the value of getting out there and networking their bra business. Gail believes in goal setting, preparation, and follow-through. She does these three things before she visits a health club, or chiropractor's office to do her bra fittings. New recruit Laura Kroeger shares her stories about getting started in the business. She initially asked her sister to do a show. To Laura's surprise, she made $500 that day and she was able to schedule two additional shows from that event. Laura is off to a good start and she's excited about her business.

Independent Contractor Withholding in California a Big Bad Issue for Bra-Fitters

There is a new tax bill up for vote that will impose a 3% income withholding tax to independent contractors and direct sellers in California. Such a bill is not good for bra-fitters in direct sales. This video by Amy Robinson, Vice President of Communications with the DSA gives information about the bill and compelling facts on the negative impact, should this bill pass, to direct sellers. Growing your business as a Beauty by Jeunique bra-fitter can be done one person at a time. During this time of economic uncertainty, the one industry growing is that of direct-sales. Distributor Jackie Tracy believes that growing occurs in sharing the opportunity. “Direct-sales is virtually a recession proof business,” she states in a recent presentation. One tip she talks about is reconnecting with inactive consultants in your downline. Bra-fitter helps ladies fit in!

Celeste Braly (pronounced bra-lee) is a bra fitter in Alaska recently noticed by the Anchorage Daily News for her blooming boutique business in the Palmer Downtown Plaza. With customers ranging from ages 14 to 96, Celeste specializes in custom-fitted Beauty by Jeunique bras.

She got started in the business initially as a customer. As a size 40H, this former intensive-care nurse experienced neck and back pain from a bra that gave no support. So, she began a search for the perfect bra. When she found out about the Beauty by Jeunique bras and the opportunity—a bra fitter was born.

Celeste emphasizes that a proper fitting bra can virtually change one’s life. “It’s something you wear every day. It alters the shape and the fit of your clothing. It changes the way your posture behaves, therefore it can produce less strain on you neck and back . . . they tell us (to get enough food) sleep and exercise. In my mind, proper bra fitting is number four,” she said in an interview with the Anchorage Daily News.

She says that many women guess their bra size, and this results in women often wearing a band size that is too large and a cup that is too small. She gets a wide variety of people walking into her boutique and that keeps things interesting. In the bra-fitting business, Celeste realizes that every woman is unique. “Every single breast I have ever fit is different. No two are ever alike,” she says. Helping women “fit in” is to help them get into the “right bra” to help them feel better and be more comfortable. She loves the fact that her business is actually helping people. Celeste comments that many women actually “walk a little taller,” and “you can see them smile a little” after being fitted into a Beauty by Jeunique bra.

I have been wearing the Jeunique Bra since 1997. I was disappointed with my ill-fitting bras, then a clerk at a department store whispered to me that an ex-employee had quit to sell personalized bras. I was still nursing my second daughter when I received my first bra fitting. Wearing the Jeunique Bra, I immediately started training for triathlons, I now only needed to wear one bra to give me the support I needed whereas I used to wear two. I’m an athletic person, and I have since developed a passion for martial arts, racquetball, hiking, and horseback riding.

I use the Jeunique Bra as a sports bra, but it is really a multi-purpose bra. You can use it for nursing, sports, post operation, and of course as a daily bra. Since wearing the bra, I feel confident, I stand straighter, and I am not ashamed of my figure.

Can the Right Bra Change your Life?
